Abstract
Management effectiveness among school administrators is crucial in ensuring efficient school operations and positive student outcomes. Thus, this study investigated the predictive influence of transformational leadership practices and conflict resolution skills on management effectiveness. Using a descriptive-correlational design, the respondents were 169 public school teachers in Mawab District, Davao de Oro, selected through universal sampling for the school year 2025–2026. Adapted questionnaires were used to gather data on transformational leadership practices, conflict resolution skills, and management effectiveness. Mean, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple regression analysis were employed for data analysis. The result revealed that the respondents strongly agreed on the presence of transformational leadership practices, conflict resolution skills, and management effectiveness among school administrators. Correlation analysis indicated a significant relationship among the three variables. Furthermore, regression analysis revealed that the two indicators of transformational leadership—inspirational motivation and intellectual stimulation, significantly predicted management effectiveness. Additionally, the conflict resolution indicators which are amicable settlement and reprimand, were found to be significant predictors of management effectiveness. It is recommended that school administrators engage in continuous training to improve their leadership approach, conflict management skills, and overall effectiveness in managing schools.
