Abstract
The wave of revolutions that have swept across Arab countries since the beginning of 2011 raises many questions about the future of the Arab region and the roles of its actors. In this context، Turkey's role in dealing with these changes and their expected impacts is increasing. Recent years have witnessed a growing Turkish interest in Arab world issues، especially after the Islamist Justice and Development Party came to power on November 22، 2002.And its keenness to adopt a qualitatively different vision for Turkey’s policy، and this interest was reinforced by Turkey’s successes in the economic aspect، as it was able to occupy a high economic position among the countries of the region as well as at the global level. These internal developments pushed Turkish policy towards more dynamic foreign policy، as Turkey became a regional presence in many issues that occupied the regional arena in the region. The Turkish role، with its multiple dimensions، raised controversy about the nature and reality of the motives driving it، between trends that highlight the programmatic nature of Turkish policy and its focus on achieving national interests according to short-term calculations Another view is a shift in Turkish foreign policy toward the Arab world. Within the framework of this study، we will attempt to determine the extent to which Turkey's new role in the Arab world has reached، and how it has become a more active player in political relations between the region's countries.
