Abstract
Abstract: The cestode parasite Moniezia (B) singhi . collected from the small intestine of the Capra hircus (L.) at Ashvi, Tal. Sangamner, Dist. Ahmednagar. The biochemistry of the Moniezia (B) alkae done with the help of different methods. Protein estimation was carried out by Lowry's method (1951), glycogen estimation was carried out by Kemp et al., (1954) method and lipid estimation by Folch etal., (1957). method. The protein , content in worm Moniezia (B) singhi obtained was 23.07, 22.47 and 22.76 mg/100 mg dry wt. of tissue per ml solution in summer, Winter and rainy season, Glycogen 21.86,21.62.and 30.15 mg/100 mg dry wt. of tissue per ml solution in summer, Winter and rainy season, lipid 23.07,23.45 and 23.23 mg/100 mg dry wt. of tissue per ml solution in summer, Winter and rainy season, Such as the protein content in infected intestine of Capra hircus (L.) obtained was 20.23, 27.42 and 20.16 mg/100 mg dry wt. of tissue per ml solution in summer, winter and rainy season respectively. Glycogen 30.15, 29.08 and28.84 mg/100 mg dry wt. of tissue per ml solution in summer, Winter and rainy season, lipid 20.23, 21.40 and 20.16 mg/100 mg dry wt. of tissue per ml solution in summer, winter and rainy season respectively.
