Abstract
In the era of ubiquitous mobile device usage, the demand for secure and reliable public charging solutions has grown significantly. Conventional charging stations often lack security, leaving users vulnerable to device theft and unauthorized access. This paper presents the design and implementation of a Secure Smart Mobile Charging System that integrates biometric authentication, coin-based access control, and automated locking mechanisms to ensure safe charging in public spaces. The system is built using the ESP32 DevKit V1 microcontroller, incorporating a fingerprint sensor, coin acceptor, relay-controlled charging port, and a servo motor-driven locker. Real-time user interaction is facilitated through an I2C LCD display, while an 8×8 dot matrix LED panel is used for advertising and information dissemination, enabling revenue generation. Additionally, a solar-powered backup ensures continuous operation in environments with unstable power supply. This solution addresses critical concerns of public device charging by combining security, automation, and financial viability, making it ideal for deployment in transportation hubs, educational institutions, and commercial areas.
