Abstract
Decentralized artificial intelligence (AI) represents a paradigm shift in how AI systems are designed and deployed, moving away from centralized models to distributed, autonomous structures. By leveraging blockchain technology, decentralized AI can enable secure, transparent, and scalable interactions among multiple AI agents without the need for a centralized authority. This paper explores the integration of blockchain with AI, focusing on the creation of autonomous learning systems that can function and evolve independently in a distributed environment. Blockchain’s inherent features, such as immutability, transparency, and decentralized control, provide significant advantages for ensuring data security, privacy, and collaboration in decentralized AI systems. The paper also examines the potential applications of blockchain-enabled decentralized AI in various domains, such as healthcare, finance, and smart cities, and highlights the challenges and ethical considerations associated with this new frontier in AI development. Additionally, it discusses the future potential of decentralized AI and blockchain, particularly in fostering collaborative, autonomous AI agents that can operate in a decentralized manner to address complex global challenges.
