Abstract
In this project, a compact planar antenna system with ultra-wideband capabilities and a 2 x 2 FStructured MIMO configuration will be developed. For fifth-generation wireless communication, the antenna system is specifically made to function in lower frequency bands. In order to maintain compactness and fulfill important performance parameters like minimal return loss and mutual coupling within the designated transmission bandwidth, the design is extremely miniaturized. Wireless communication devices can transmit over a wide frequency range while using less power by utilizing ultra-wideband technology. Higher data rates, more bandwidth, and cost effectiveness are just a few benefits of this technology. Multi Input Multi Output is a wireless communications antenna system that uses multipath propagation to employ several antennas at the source and the destination simultaneously over the same radio channel. Mutual coupling reduction strategies are necessary to retain the necessary gain, efficiency, and isolation because MIMO antenna designs in the 5G frequency band took up less space. The diversity and mutual coupling reduction strategies in MIMO antennas are also the main topics of this paper. Better signal range, fewer bit errors, less power usage, and less interference are all provided by MIMO. Due to its decreased weight, low volume, low cost, low profile, smaller dimensions, ease of manufacture, and conformance, microstrip patch antennas are becoming more and more popular.A microstrip MIMO is a sophisticated technology that solves the multipath fading propagation issue by using multiple antennas.
