Abstract

This study has been undertaken to investigate the knowledge and attitude on family planning among postnatal mothers in a tertiary referral center of Jharkhand with objectives of assessment of knowledge and attitude among post natal mothers on family planning and to find out the association between knowledge, attitude with selected demographic variables. A descriptive research designee was used in which 98 no of sample has been selected through a convenient sampling techniques. Data collection done using a semi-structured questionnaires for assessment of knowledge while likert scale for assessment of attitude. Data reveled that majority of the participant 61% had a moderate level of knowledge and 57% had a favorable level of attitude.
