Abstract
The Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), proposed by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, represents a groundbreaking initiative in reforming India's teacher education sector. This paper explores the significance of ITEP within the context of teacher education reform, aiming to address longstanding challenges in traditional teacher training programs. Through a comprehensive analysis, it examines the implementation, challenges, and opportunities presented by ITEP in the Indian education system.
