Abstract

This research paper aims to explore the representation of LGBTQ individuals through an in-depth analysis of a specific case study: Hostel Room 131. With increasing societal awareness and acceptance of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, it is essential to investigate how spaces like hostel rooms, which often serve as personal havens, reflect and contribute to LGBTQ+ representation. This study employs a multidisciplinary approach, combining elements of sociology, psychology, architecture, and cultural studies, to dissect the physical, visual, and emotional aspects of Hostel Room 131's representation of LGBTQ+ individuals. By delving into the details of the room's design, decor, and ambiance, as well as the personal experiences of its occupants, this research contributes to a broader understanding of how physical spaces can impact and reflect the LGBTQ community's identities.
