Abstract

Some aspects of science, taken at the broadest level, are universal in empirical research. These include collecting, analyzing, and reporting data. In each of these aspects, errors can and do occur. Experiment plays vital roles in our life. We use them everyday consciously or unconsciously. Today data is everywhere and making the right decision becomes increasingly difficult due to information overload of our system. Statisticians allow us to process and understand the world around us if applied correctly. We should be able to make better decisions based on more complete information. But what if statistician decision is wrong? Will he/she pay the cost of the error? What are the contributing factors? This article walks you through the concepts of experiment, Error, Statistics and Statistician errors. The objective is to understand the Consequences of Statisticians errors and avoid making wrong decisions.
