A RESEARCH PROPOSAL SOME SUGGESTIVE SELF-STUDY STRATEGIES FOR ENGLISH MAJORED FRESHMEN AT TAY DO UNIVERSITY

This research presents the process of the study about “Some suggestive self-study strategies for English majored freshmen at Tay Do University”. The participants of this research are English-majored first year students at Tay Do University. In this study, questionnaire and interview are used as two instruments to collect the data. Beside observations are also being employed, it can be seen the difficulties that students often face when students learning English. This is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. The results of the study will indicate difficulties in learning students’s new knowledge and foundational knowledge. Therefore, students can find suitable methods to improve their English learning method.
