Abstract

ABSTRACT Speaking is said to be an indispensable subject, which partly contributes to the success of learning English and daily communications. However, it is not easy to master this skill and students may face many problems in speaking English. Therefore, the research “The difficulties in English speaking of English majored sophomores at Tay Do University” aim to be conducted to help sophomores to recognize their own problems in speaking, and find out suitable ways to avoid these problems. The participants of study are English majored sophomores from class 14A at Tay Do University. In study process, questionnaire is used as instruments to collect the data. The result of the research will show the difficulties in English speaking of English majored sophomores at Tay Do University. Besides, the teachers can also know the problems of their students to changing method and find out some effective solutions in order to help students improve English speaking.
