Abstract
The problems of environmental pollution are becoming acute day by day due to emergence of free economy and large scale industrial development. Therefore, the role played by a consultancy organization in the field of environmental management assumes great significance. Moreover, there is urgent need to impart education and training to masses in areas like Pohara forrest for the development of scientific and technical manpower to meet the growing needs of environmental protection. In the present paper, an attempt has been made to describe the scope of consultancy services along with requirements and future prospects for the consultancy services in the Environmental Management with respect to Pohara Forest of Amravati District in Maharashtra State.
