Abstract
Abstract: This study endeavors to explore and assess the changing scenario of women's engagement in different fields in the Jammu and Kashmir region. Historically defined by traditional values and societal norms, the research delves into the transforming dynamics that question gender stereotypes and promote women's exploration of varied professional paths. Employing a thorough analysis of data, interviews, and case studies, the investigation aims to comprehend the factors shaping women's decisions, the challenges they encounter, and the repercussions of their growing presence in professions traditionally monopolized by men. The outcomes aim to provide significant perspectives to both regional and international dialogues on gender parity and the empowerment of women.
