Abstract
The increasing global emphasis on sustainability and environmental responsibility has significantly transformed supply chain management practices. This study explores innovative techniques aimed at enhancing the efficiency and eco-friendliness of supply chain logistics. With rising concerns over carbon emissions, resource depletion, and environmental impact, businesses are under pressure to adopt greener practices while maintaining cost-effectiveness and operational excellence. This research identifies and evaluates a range of innovative logistics strategies, including green transportation methods, smart warehousing, reverse logistics, and the integration of digital technologies such as IoT, AI, and blockchain. A quantitative approach was adopted through survey analysis among logistics professionals and supply chain managers to assess the implementation and effectiveness of these techniques. The findings indicate that organizations adopting eco-friendly innovations not only reduce their environmental footprint but also experience long-term benefits such as cost savings, enhanced brand reputation, and improved customer satisfaction. The study concludes with practical recommendations for industries to transition towards more sustainable and efficient supply chain operations, reinforcing the need for strategic innovation in achieving both ecological and economic objectives.
