This paper delves into the transformative potential of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in facilitating self-directed learning. Generative AI encompasses a suite of advanced capabilities, such as personalised learning insights, adaptive curriculum development, and innovative collaborative learning tools. These features empower students to take proactive control of their educational journeys, tailoring their learning experiences to their unique needs and preferences.
