Abstract
A series of NLO Glycine-oxalic acid have been grown by slow evaporation method at room temperature.The doping of oxalic acid with glycine was confirmed by C,H,N analysis.The mechanical behavior of the grown crystals was studies using Vicker’s microhardness tester.The PSR model was verified for all samples and it is found that all tThe crystal belongs to soft material category as Mayer’s index (n) is greater than 1.6. The chemical contents of the crystals were verified by CHN analysis and are seen to agree with the calculated chemical unit . The presence of two hydrogen atoms belonging to NH2 and CH2 group have been identified in H-nmr spectra
