Abstract
झारखंड भारत का एक प्रमुख जनजातीय बहुल राज्य है, जहाँ संताल, मुंडा, उरांव, हो, खड़िया, बिरहोर, असुर, पहाड़िया, भूमिज तथा अन्य अनेक जनजातियाँ अपनी विशिष्ट सांस्कृतिक पहचान के साथ निवास करती हैं । इन जनजातियों का सामाजिक, आर्थिक तथा धार्मिक जीवन प्रकृति के साथ गहरे संबंध पर आधारित है । इनके पर्व-त्योहार केवल धार्मिक अनुष्ठान नहीं हैं, बल्कि प्रकृति के प्रति कृतज्ञता, सामुदायिक सहयोग, सांस्कृतिक निरंतरता तथा पारंपरिक ज्ञान के संरक्षण के सशक्त माध्यम हैं । जनजातीय समाज में पर्व जीवन के प्रत्येक महत्वपूर्ण चरण, ऋतु परिवर्तन, कृषि कार्य, बीज बोने,
