Abstract

This paper explores the influence of e-invoicing on financial compliance and reporting using Genpact Madurai as a case study. With the implementation of mandatory e-invoicing under India’s GST regime, many organizations have transitioned to digital invoicing systems, bringing about significant improvements in transparency and operational efficiency. The study employs descriptive and exploratory research methodologies and relies on primary data from 50 respondents at Genpact Madurai. Various statistical tools such as descriptive statistics, Chi-square analysis, correlation, and regression were used to validate the impact of e-invoicing on compliance, fraud mitigation, and financial accuracy. The findings highlight that e-invoicing has streamlined financial reporting, reduced invoice discrepancies, and improved real-time audit capabilities. This paper recommends actionable strategies for overcoming challenges in e-invoicing adoption, such as ERP integration, employee training, and vendor coordination.
