Abstract
This work focusses on the novel invention of bioactive gauze bandages impregnate with fish collagen peptides for enhanced wound dressing applications. Using the intrinsic wound healing capabilities of fish-derived collagen, the study hopes to improve tissue regeneration and minimise infection rates. The extraction and impregnate of collagen into gauze bandages is thoroughly documented, emphasising its efficacy, biocompatibility, and longevity. Preliminary clinical evaluations show considerable increases in wound healing time, patient comfort, and overall wound care efficacy. The study emphasises bioactive materials' potential to revolutionise wound management by providing a more sustainable and effective alternative to traditional wound dressings. The study emphasises bioactive materials' potential to revolutionise wound management by providing a more sustainable and effective alternative to traditional wound dressings. This study could open the door for future advances in medical textiles, resulting in better health outcomes and a higher quality of life for patients.
