Abstract
In the current global scenario, the development of women is at a crucial juncture or cross roads where they need to forge ahead to achieve sustainable growth and development by breaking the patriarchal bonds. Despite women being in the frontline, they are extremely vulnerable to discrimination, crime, violence and other gory aspects. To arouse and awaken women to this stark reality and to serve as a platform to express their subdued voice, the seminar on “Women at Crossroads: Multi- disciplinary Perspectives” will be a stride towards empowering women by enabling them to express women- centric points and emerge as the truly liberated modern women.
